What is Pennsylvania's State Flower?
Pennsylvania State Flower - Mountain Laurel (Kalmia
latifolia)
The Mountain Laurel is an evergreen shrub and
belongs to the Blueberry family. It was adopted
as the official state flower of Connecticut in
1933 by the General Assembly. The Mountain Laurel
is well known for its physical appeal and so it
is primarily grown as an ornamental plant.
