What is Michigan's State Flower?
Michigan State Flower - Apple Blossom (Malus)
In 1897 William Harris suggested legislation
that designated the Apple Blossom as the official
state flower of Michigan. Shorty after Mr. Harris'
proposal, the Apple Blossom was chosen as the
official official state flower of Michigan.
