What is Idaho's State Flower?
Idaho State Flower- Syringa Mock Orange (Philadelphus
lewisii)
In 1980, after Idaho had been accepted into
the union, the First Legislature agreed upon the
Syringa being the state flower. However, despite
its common acceptance as the state flower, it
was not deemed the official state flower until
1931.
