What is Colorado's State Flower?
Colorado State Flower - Rocky Mountain Columbine
(Aquilegia caerulea)
In 1899 the General Assembly of Colorado specified

Twenty Six years later in 1925, in order to protect
and preserve the flower, a series of laws were
passed including the prohibition of uprooting
