INSECT CONTROL RECIPE

Spider Spray

A peppermint-and-vinegar spray keeps spiders from settling in around doorways, windows, and corners — a scent-based deterrent rather than a killer.

Spiderspray
Prep: 5 minutes
Yields: about 2 cups
Organic-friendly

Ingredients

1 cup water
1 cup white vinegar
15 drops peppermint essential oil

Instructions

1

Combine the water and vinegar in a spray bottle.

2

Add the peppermint essential oil and shake well.

3

Spray along baseboards, window frames, and other spots where spiders tend to gather.

Tip: Focus on corners, baseboards, and window frames — spraying open areas does little since spiders prefer tucked-away spots.
