ANIMAL CONTROL RECIPE
Mole Repellent
A pungent castor-oil-and-garlic drench works into the soil to make moles' underground food source taste and smell unappealing.
Prep: 15 minutes
Yields: about 1 gallon
Organic-friendly
Ingredients
1/2 cup castor oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons liquid dish soap
1 gallon water
Instructions
1
Blend the castor oil, garlic, and dish soap together until well combined.
2
Stir the mixture into the gallon of water.
3
Pour over areas with mole tunnels and mounds, watering it in well.
4
Reapply every couple of weeks, especially after rain, until tunneling stops.
Tip: Water the lawn first so the mixture soaks all the way down into active tunnels rather than staying on the surface.
