Feeding on a Schedule
A light monthly feeding during spring and summer, when most houseplants are actively growing, is usually plenty. Watching for pale leaves or slowed growth is a better guide to whether more feeding is needed than feeding on a fixed schedule regardless of the plant's actual condition.
