INSECT CONTROL RECIPE

Cockroach Control

A baking soda and sugar bait dehydrates roaches from the inside out once they eat it — slow, but effective at reducing an established population.

Cockroachcontrol
Prep: 10 minutes
Yields: several bait piles
Organic-friendly

Ingredients

Equal parts baking soda and sugar
Small dishes or bottle caps

Instructions

1

Mix the baking soda and sugar together in equal parts.

2

Place small piles or dishes of the mixture along baseboards, under sinks, and near other roach activity.

3

Replace piles weekly and keep them stocked until activity stops.

Caution: Keep bait piles away from pets — while less toxic than commercial baits, baking soda in quantity can still cause stomach upset.
