Aphid Control
A straightforward insecticidal soap spray that kills aphids on contact by breaking down their soft outer shell — effective, and safe to use right up to harvest.

Ingredients
1 quart water
2 1/2 tablespoons mild liquid dish soap
Spray bottle
Instructions

Combine the water and dish soap in a spray bottle and mix gently to avoid excess foam.

Spray affected plants thoroughly, coating the tops and undersides of leaves.

Let sit for a few hours, then rinse with plain water to prevent leaf damage.

Reapply every 4 to 7 days until the aphid population is under control.
Tip: Direct contact is what kills aphids, so coat the undersides of leaves thoroughly — that's where colonies cluster.
