INSECT CONTROL RECIPE

Ant Killer

A direct-contact soap spray for ants you can see right now — fast, but it only reaches the ants it touches, not the nest.

Antkiller
Prep: 5 minutes
Yields: about 2 cups
Organic-friendly

Ingredients

1 cup water
2 tablespoons liquid dish soap
Spray bottle

Instructions

1

Mix the water and dish soap in a spray bottle, shaking gently to combine.

2

Spray directly onto visible ants — the soap breaks down their protective outer coating.

3

Wipe up afterward and reapply as needed whenever new ants appear.

Tip: For a lasting fix, follow up with a bait like our Ant Bait recipe so the colony doesn't just send out new scouts.
