INSECT CONTROL RECIPE
Ant Control
A vinegar trail-breaker that disrupts the scent path ants use to march back to your kitchen or garden bed, sending scouts looking elsewhere.
Prep: 5 minutes
Yields: about 2 cups
Organic-friendly
Ingredients
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup water
Spray bottle
Instructions
1
Mix the vinegar and water together in a spray bottle.
2
Spray directly along visible ant trails, entry points, and doorframes.
3
Wipe the area down after a few minutes to remove both the ants’ scent trail and the vinegar smell.
4
Repeat daily for a few days until the trail stops reforming.
Tip: Trail-breaking only stops the ants you can see. If the trail keeps reappearing, pair this with a bait station like our Ant Bait recipe to deal with the colony itself.
